1. Tell us about yourself and how did the whole dream start up?

My names are iluobe juliet sonia hals from edo state, I'm the first of six siblings I'm a happy person, and I love God. To be very honest, i got inspired by my mom from her tailoring background. that was when i knew I wanted to become a fashion designer.


2.  What made you take the leap into entrepreneurship?

I took up fashion entrepreneurship as a career for various reasons, and that  was to express my personal style and to show a creative side of my art ability because I have passion for art and I enjoy sketching clothes that will be brought to reality and to make money out of my own unique creative ability.


3. What were the biggest initial hurdles to building your business and how did you overcome them?

That would be understanding various customers and how to meet their individual needs.

I would say I am able to overcome that phase by the knowledge I have acquired in carefully understanding how to relate with customers.


 4.  Did you ever deal with contention from your family concerning your entrepreneurial pursuits? How did you handle it? What would you do differently in hindsight? 

Not at all. My family has been very supportive with my pursuit in my fashion career


5, what was your business’ original mission? How has that mission evolved in the time since?

Originally, i wanted to do things differently and saw the need for a brand that will care for women's look. 

Our mission has evolved to not only care for women's look, but to offer stylish, great, affordable high fashion clothing to women all over the world.


6.    Do you prefer to pursue funding or build organically, and why?


7.    Did you have major competitors when you started, how did you plan to compete with them, and how did that plan play out?

Fashion as you know is a competitive business, my best competition is myself and to become a better version of who I'm every day. And that has played out pretty well.


8.    What do you look for in an employee?

One of the major thing I look for is an employee who is skilfully smart.


9.    How did you build a consumer culture around your product?

I try to understand the need of my target market and how to meet their need with our products 


10. What would you say was the single most influential factor in your business’ success?

That would be perseverance and consistency 


11. What is the biggest mistake you’ve made as an entrepreneur?

Well no major mistakes in particular but I've had my fair share of challenges along the line that has shaped me into the person I am today and it's always progressive.


12. What do you do to recharge when you’re feeling drained?

Worship. Been a worshipper when I feel drained is a life oxygen for me as it helps to refresh me.


13. How do you believe evolving technology will impact the way we do business over the next 10 years?

We are in a time of rapid change in technology now more than ever. From an individual perspective, I believe technology has a huge impact on how we will transact business with the world in the future. For most people, this will mean working from home in other to relieve extra costs in rents and to aid reaching a larger community of customers.


14. What do you know today that you wish you would have known when you first got started as an entrepreneur?

That will be my evolvement in creativity


15. Who are the people that mentored you into your current business?

My best friend mentored me in my career in fashion designing 


16. What is the best advice you received recently, and that you still follow?

Knowing how to trust in God through it all.
